Key Responsibilities

- Lead the structural engineering scope for modular and prefabricated data center units, from concept design through fabrication and as-built stages.
- Develop and review structural designs and calculations for steel and concrete structures, module frames, skids, and supporting steelwork.
- Prepare, check, and approve structural drawings, models, and technical documentation in line with project standards and applicable codes.
- Coordinate structural design with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and production teams to ensure clash-free, manufacturable solutions.
- Review vendor and fabricator submissions, connection designs, and shop drawings for compliance with design intent and standards.
- Support the production campus with constructability input, tolerances, lifting and transport arrangements, and design for manufacture and assembly (DfMA).
- Respond to RFIs and provide technical support to fabrication and site teams during production, installation, and commissioning.
- Manage and mentor structural engineers and drafters, setting design standards and ensuring consistent engineering quality.
- Plan and track structural engineering deliverables against project schedules, flagging risks and resourcing needs.




- Ensure designs comply with relevant Indian and international codes, load requirements, and quality and safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- More than 4 years of structural engineering experience, including experience leading or managing a team.
- Solid experience in steel structures and connection design; experience with modular, prefabricated, or industrial structures is an advantage.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or Tekla Structures.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM tools such as Revit for coordination and documentation.
- Sound knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IS codes, AISC, Eurocodes, or equivalent).
- Experience in data centers, manufacturing, EPC, offshore, or other operations-driven environments is preferred.
- Experience coordinating within multidisciplinary teams and supporting fabrication or construction phases.
- Chartered / professional engineer status (or working towards it) is an advantage.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills, with good written and spoken English.
