We are looking for an experienced and passionate Medical Coding Trainer to join our team!

Role Overview

Seeking a Certified Trainer with strong expertise in Medical Coding and a proven track record in delivering high-quality training programs across specialties.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver end-to-end training programs including:
- Client-specific training
- Industry updates
- General medical coding sessions

- Train coders on ICD & CPT coding, including the latest updates and guidelines
- Specialize in ED
- Develop and update training content/materials aligned with current standards
- Coordinate with Supervisors and Training Managers to plan and execute training initiatives
- Conduct regular audits:

- New hire charts
- New specialty cases
- Ongoing quality audits

- Track performance and continuously improve training effectiveness

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7 to 8 years of experience in Medical Coding




- 2 to 4 years of experience in training/mentoring
- CPC Certification (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of ICD & CPT coding updates
- Excellent English communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt and learn recent specialties quickly

Good to Have

- Experience in evaluating employee performance and identifying skill gaps
- Ability to design and implement onboarding programs
- Awareness of modern training methodologies
- Experience in creating structured training plans to bridge skill gaps
