Job Summary

This Position reports to Engineering Manager.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Marine Ports division based in Bangalore, India.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: Li-Onsite.

Responsibilities

- Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
- Kick off meeting (KOM) with the client to mutually agree on scope of work and deviations.
- Preparing the man hour estimate, technical and commercial offer for the project
- Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Conducting Power system studies such as:
- Load flow study
- Short circuit study




- Energetic Motor starting study
- Harmonic analysis
- Transient load shedding study
- Relay coordination study with Unit protection
- Arc flash study
- Insulation co-ordination study
- Transformer inrush current study
- Renewable Energy and Grid Integration Studies
- Preparation of study report and harmonic measurement at site

Qualifications
- Candidate should have a masters degree in Power system Analysis/ Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Hands on and working knowledge on any one of power systems study software such as ETAP/ NEPLAN/ SKM Power /PS CAD/ DigSILENT/ CYME tools etc.
- Must have successfully executed at least two power system studies projects for big networks involving 300buses and above independently.
- Project execution experience in MV, LV switchgear package and detail engineering would be an added advantage.
