"Is this a pure play technical/techno functional role ? : Technical Role.

Specific contribution expected from the role:

1. Database Management & Performance TuningMonitor, maintain, and optimize marketing relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake) to ensure maximum uptime and rapid query responses for campaign execution.Conduct proactive performance tuning, index rebuilding, capacity planning, and query optimization for high-volume marketing data loads and ETL processes.Establish and manage database backup, disaster recovery, and data archiving strategies to keep the active production environment lean and efficient.

2. Campaign & Channel Delivery SupportCollaborate with marketing teams to translate complex business logic into effective SQL queries and target audience selections.Configure, support, and maintain integrations between core marketing databases and delivery channel applications (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HCL Unica, Pega Customer Decision Hub, HubSpot).Ensure accurate and timely data transfers (files, APIs,



webhooks) between internal systems and third-party marketing vendors, minimizing data latency for real-time trigger campaigns.

3. Data Integrity & Quality ControlImplement rigorous data hygiene, deduplication, and scrubbing routines to maintain premium data quality across all customer and prospect profiles.Build, audit, and quality-test automated audience lists and campaign waterfalls to ensure the ""right message reaches the right person"" via the right channel. Act as the marketing data expert to enforce compliance with Data Governance rules and international privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).

4. Security, Access Control & DocumentationManage user roles, permissions, and security protocols to restrict sensitive customer data access to authorized personnel and analytical teams. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding database schemas, ETL mappings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system
