Designation: Collibra Engineer

Job Summary:

The Junior Collibra Engineer supports the development and maintenance of

the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. You will work under senior guidance to

automate governance workflows, manage metadata, and ensure data quality across the

enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Workflow Development: Assist in designing and implementing business

process workflows using the Collibra Workflow Designer (BPMN 2.0).

• Metadata Management: Perform metadata harvesting and lineage tracking to

improve data visibility and asset discovery.

• Platform Support: Provide day-to-day technical support for users, including

troubleshooting issues and managing asset models.

• Integration: Use Collibra REST APIs and scripts to support data exchange





between Collibra and other systems like MuleSoft or Snowflake.

• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and

wiki pages for governance processes.

Required Technical Skills

• Core Tool: Proficiency in Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) modules

(Catalog, Business Glossary, Policy Manager).

• Scripting: Foundational knowledge of Groovy and Java for workflow

customization.

• Data Foundation: Solid understanding of SQL for data validation and

basic Python for automation.

• Concepts: Familiarity with data governance principles like data lineage,

stewardship, and data quality.
