Pharmacist

A Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring secure and effective medication use, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. The role involves maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Dispense prescription medications and provide dosage instructions.
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage.
- Monitor patient medication therapy and recommend adjustments when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and storage of medications.
- Handle controlled substances according to applicable regulations.




- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs.

Required Qualifications

- D.Pharm/B.Pharm/Any Degree
- Valid pharmacist license/registration.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmacy regulations.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1 - 3+ years of pharmacy experience (hospital, retail, or clinical setting).
- Certification in specialized pharmacy practice (if applicable).
