Role Title Principal Solution Architect - Spec Position Summary This role is primarily responsible for establishing the technical architecture for solutions while working closely with delivery partners including Product Owners Chapter Leads and Technical Leads to enable successful delivery This role ensures that solutions are well-architected concerning security quality extensibility maintainability and performance and they are implemented to support near and long-term implementation productivity They are accountable for ensuring solutions are integrated into the overall technical landscape guided by Enterprise Architecture standards and patterns Solution Architects are expected to evaluate various options identify tradeoffs and ultimately take accountability to communicate clear recommendations for selecting and implementing effective technical solutions that meet business objectives As a key delivery partner this role has the responsibility to help guide the prioritized implementation roadmap and help determine how to execute solution implementation effectively over time They play a key leadership role in supporting teams and stakeholders in planning executing and delivering technical solutions in alignment with the established target architecture Solution Architects are expected to remain closely engaged during solution delivery including incrementally reviewing technical design and implementation to ensure the utilization of best practices and adherence to architectural guidance Solution architects may strategically contribute to implementation activities when there is an prospect to establish an example and provide crucial implementation guidance Solution Architects contribute to defining architecture patterns building reference implementations of these patterns and proof of technologies to accelerate solution delivery This is an experienced solution designer who contributes a breadth of experience and selective expertise to amplify teams ability to deliver
