Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java Selenium Cucumber REST API testing and Database validation You will be responsible for designing robust automation frameworks and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Java Selenium and Cucumber Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications APIs and backend systems Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman RestAssured or similar Conduct database validations using SQL queries to ensure data integrity Collaborate with developers QA engineers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage Integrate automated tests with CI CD pipelines Analyze test results identify issues and work with development teams to resolve them Continuously improve test processes and contribute to best practices in automation Required Skills Robust programming skills in Java Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation Proficiency in Cucumber and BDD frameworks Experience with REST API testing and tools like RestAssured or Postman Good understanding of SQL and experience in database testing Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch Familiarity with version control systems e g Git Experience with CI CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI etc Good to Have Knowledge of Java Design Patterns and their application in test automation Experience with performance testing tools e g JMeter Exposure to cloud platforms AWS Azure and containerization Docker Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams Experience in Tosca is additional plus About State Street Across the globe institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk respond to challenges and drive performance and profitability We keep our clients at
