Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Consultant / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in GCP migration and test environment optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cloud migration activities and improving the efficiency of test environments through automation and pipeline optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support GCP migration activities, including planning, execution, and validation
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes
- Manage and optimize test environments, ensuring high availability and performance
- Automate GCP resource provisioning and deprovisioning to reduce cost and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
- Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing improvements as needed
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner
- Ensure best practices in cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience in cloud migration projects
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Good understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of automation scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Experience in workplace management and optimization
- Understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SRE practices and reliability engineering
- Exposure to cost optimization strategies in GCP
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies
Experience:
- 4+ years in DevOps / SRE roles
- Proven experience in GCP migration and environment management
