The Assembly Engineer will be responsible for assembling mechanical/electrical components, ensuring quality standards, optimizing assembly processes, and supporting production targets.
The role involves hands-on assembly work, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with production and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly of mechanical, electrical, or electronic components as per drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Identify assembly issues and perform troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety guidelines on the shop floor.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams for smooth assembly operations.
- Maintain assembly tools, equipment, and workstation organization (5S).
- Conduct inspections and verify assembly compliance through gauges and measuring instruments.
- Assist in developing and improving assembly methods and standard operating procedures.
- Support current product assembly trials and provide feedback to engineering.
- Document production data, assembly issues, and daily activity reports.
