About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Erection Engineer with hands-on experience in Industrial Automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), and Weighing & Batching Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, alignment, and commissioning support of mechanical systems at customer sites, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute the mechanical erection, installation, and assembly of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Industrial Automation equipment, and Weighing & Batching Systems.
- Read and interpret General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Assembly Drawings, Fabrication Drawings, and Layout Drawings.
- Install and align machine frames, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, servo motors, bearings, shafts, and mechanical drive systems.
- Assemble and install pneumatic components, linear guides, ball screws, cylinders, hoppers, mixers, feeders, conveyors, and structural assemblies.
- Support the installation of load cells, weighing systems, batching equipment, and material handling systems.
- Coordinate with Mechanical Design, Electrical, PLC, and Project Engineering teams during installation and commissioning.
- Conduct equipment alignment, leveling, and pre-commissioning mechanical inspections.
- Assist during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and customer handover.
- Identify and resolve mechanical installation issues while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Prepare site progress reports, installation checklists, and commissioning documentation.
