Role: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune

Expereince: 5-10 years

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management and Service Catalog.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Script Includes, UI Policies and ACLs.
- Experience developing workflows using Workflow Editor and Flow Designer.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow IntegrationHub, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and MID Server-based integrations.
- Hands-on experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping and Asset Management modules.
- Experience customizing forms, catalogs, record producers, notifications and approval workflows.
- Knowledge of Service Portal, UI Builder, Employee Center and custom widget development.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology and ServiceNow SDLC processes.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise IT service management practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and optimize platform performance.
- Solid documentation, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows and platform customizations.
- Configure and enhance ITSM processes including Incident, Change,



Problem, Request and Knowledge Management.
- Develop Service Catalog items, Record Producers, Approval Workflows and Automation Solutions.
- Build and support integrations with enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub and MID Servers.
- Implement and maintain CMDB, Discovery and Asset Management capabilities.
- Customize Service Portal, UI Builder components and user experiences to meet business requirements.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues and provide L2/L3 support for ServiceNow applications.
- Ensure platform security through RBAC, ACLs, data policies and governance controls.
- Create technical design documents, SOPs, runbooks, deployment guides and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, operations and security teams for enterprise-wide automation initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation and adoption of ServiceNow best practices.

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM)
- ServiceNow ITOM Implementation Specialist
- ITIL Foundation Certification
