Job Description

Prudential is seeking an experienced Digital Data Architect to join its Group Architecture team and drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This is a high-impact role responsible for defining and governing scalable, secure, and cloud-native data architecture across core insurance and digital platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with enterprise architects, technology teams, and business stakeholders to build future-ready data ecosystems that support customer, agency, CRM, and core insurance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture, including Operational Data Store (ODS) layers, canonical data models, and API-led data services.
- Define scalable integration architectures utilizing ETL/ELT, real-time streaming, and event-driven data pipelines.
- Develop and govern canonical data models, schema definitions, metadata frameworks, and master data management practices.
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality, privacy, security, and compliance standards.
- Architect enterprise data solutions across Customer, Agency, CRM, and Core Insurance platforms.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies and microservices-based architectures.
- Collaborate with Group Architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.




- Provide architectural guidance and governance throughout the solution lifecycle.

Required Skills

- Solid experience in Enterprise Data Architecture within large-scale organizations.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Operational Data Store (ODS)
- Data Modeling & Canonical Models
- API-led Architecture
- ETL/ELT & Data Integration
- Event-Driven Architecture
- Data Streaming Platforms

- Experience with cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of:

- Data Governance
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Metadata Management
- Data Security & Compliance
- Access Control & Encryption

- Experience integrating enterprise applications, CRM systems, customer platforms, and core business applications.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the Insurance domain, preferably Life Insurance.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
- Experience working with digital transformation and modernization programs.
