- Conduct eye exams, dispense glasses or contact lenses, and provide recommendations for vision correction.
- Assist optometrists with various tasks such as refractions, contact lens fittings, and patient consultations.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data and prescriptions in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure a clean and organized work setting by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment.
Job Requirements :
- 2-12 years of experience as an optical technician or related field.
- Strong knowledge of optometry principles, including refraction techniques and contact lens fitting methods.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Certification from the American Board of Optometry (ABO) or equivalent.
