Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a deep understanding of AWS services, focusing on IoT solutions such as Greengrass and SiteWise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and deploying cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for IoT technologies and cloud computing.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to support IoT applications using services like Greengrass and SiteWise.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Implement and manage security best practices for AWS environments.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS services and IoT deployments.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and IoT technologies, and proactively recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles, with a strong focus on AWS services.
- Expertise in AWS IoT services, including Greengrass, SiteWise, IoT Core, and others.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
