You are:
Build, operate and manage Linux systems on the AWS Cloud and physical servers for the client on-site.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Own and manage Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) servers
Manage AWS resources like EC2, Route53 DNS and S3 buckets
Management of MySQL / PostgresSQL DB Services
Handling alerts from various system monitoring applications like Nagios
Support the internal IT systems and corporate network
Assist development teams on Network and Linux queries
Assist in vendor management activities for IT related requirements
Automation with Puppet / Chef / Ansible
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of work experience
Hands on experience in installing and managing Ubuntu/CentOS Linux systems in any environment
Exposure to basic EC2 tasks like launching a recent instance on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with Nagios Monitoring System
Exposure to MySQL/Postgres database
Basics shell scripting in bash (or any other scripting language)
Exposure to devops automation framework (Chef/Puppet/Ansible)
