Position: AUTOSAR Base Software Developer (TT35SI RM 4286)
Job Summary:
The AUTOSAR Base Software Developer will be responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of AUTOSAR-compliant base software components for embedded automotive systems. This role involves working closely with hardware engineers, application software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of the base software layer, which includes operating systems, drivers, and middleware.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Software Development:
o Design, develop, and maintain AUTOSAR base software components, including operating systems, device drivers, and middleware.
o Implement and configure AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules according to project requirements.
o Utilize AUTOSAR configuration tools like ETAS ISOLAR-A/B, DaVinci Configurator and developer for BSW configuration and code generation.
2. Integration and Testing:
o Integrate AUTOSAR base software components with hardware and application software.
o Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality, performance,
and reliability of the AUTOSAR base software.
o Debug and resolve issues related to AUTOSAR base software components.
o Perform debugging and troubleshooting of embedded systems using debugging tools like Lauterbach and Trace32.
3. Requirements Analysis Design:
o Analyze system requirements and translate them into BSW specifications.
o Design and implement effective and effective BSW solutions.
o Document software design and implementation details clearly and concisely.
4. Continuous Improvement:
o Stay updated with the latest advancements in AUTOSAR standards and base software technologies.
o Propose and implement improvements to enhance the performance, security, and maintainability of AUTOSAR base software components.
5. Compliance and Standards:
o Ensure AUTOSAR base software components comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
