Job Summary
The Agency Channel Manager is responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a team of insurance advisors/agents to generate business and achieve sales targets. The role focuses on agent productivity, business growth, customer acquisition, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities Agent Recruitment Activation
- Recruit and onboard insurance advisors/agents as per business targets.
- Conduct interviews, screening, and documentation of prospective agents.
- Ensure timely licensing and activation of recruited advisors.
Training Development
- Train agents on insurance products, sales processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and field accompaniment.
- Improve advisor productivity through continuous mentoring.
Sales Business Development
- Drive premium collection and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Support advisors in lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Generate business through advisors and develop current markets.
- Monitor advisor performance and implement action plans for low performers.
Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with agents and key customers.
- Resolve partner and customer queries efficiently.
- Motivate advisors through recognition and engagement programs.
Compliance Reporting
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI and company compliance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate sales records, MIS, and business reports.
- Monitor policy persistency and renewal collections.
Eligibility Criteria Education
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA preferred.
Experience
- 1-8 years of experience in Insurance Agency Sales, Channel Sales, BFSI Sales, or Team Handling.
