The Controls Engineer will be responsible for automation systems, machine controls, testing stations,
safety systems, and commissioning of equipment used in EV motor inverter manufacturing and testing. The role involves close coordination with production, maintenance, quality, and OEM suppliers to ensure robust, protected, and optimized control systems.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the installations of MES, Argonaut, Ignition, SQL ,NI, LabVIEW system on assembly lines
- Lead PLC/HMI/SCADA/servo/robotics/VFD maintenance and improvements (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta, Beckhoff; Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus/TCP).
- Manage PLC/HMI version control, backup restore, change management, and safe programming standards; maintain the controls asset library.
- Troubleshoot machine communication networks, field buses, and I/O diagnostics; ensure electrical schematics and logic documentation are current.
