What you ll do
- Receive, inspect and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely system updates for all stock movements.
- Issue materials to user departments in accordance with approved requisitions and operational requirements.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) to maintain product quality and minimise wastage.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inventory checks and assist in stock reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance and operational departments to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor stock availability and report slow-moving, expired or damaged items.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety and organisation of all store areas while complying with company policies and audit requirements.
- Support month-end inventory processes and prepare inventory-related reports as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Store Executive,
Storekeeper or Inventory Executive within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- High degree of professionalism with solid understanding of business acumen
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial and accounting reporting systems
- Good contacts with vendors and high negotiation skills
