Job Description:
The Quality Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems and processes across all departments within Manipal Hospitals. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, continuous improvement of care quality, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. The Quality Specialist will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to identify areas for improvement, conduct audits, and facilitate training sessions to enhance service delivery and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the quality improvement program by establishing quality metrics and performance dashboards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Analyze data to identify trends and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Provide support in preparing for accreditation surveys and inspections.
- Facilitate training and workshops on quality improvement tools and methodologies.
- Monitor the implementation of policies and procedures related to quality and safety.
- Prepare reports and presentations on quality metrics for management review.
