About the Role:
PubMatic is looking for engineers, who can design and implement highly scalable
and low-latency DSP bidder features in our Activate platform. If you get excited

What You'll Do:
* Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) development on Linux/UNIX platforms.
* Proficient in leveraging Generative AI-assisted development tools to improve
software development productivity, code quality, and engineering efficiency.
* Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on Kubernetes
(K8s); experience with containerized environments is preferred.
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
* Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and
system programming concepts, including multithreading, multiprocessing, and
memory management.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
* Take end-to-end ownership of the software development lifecycle, including
solution design, implementation, code reviews, automated testing, deployment,
release management, production monitoring, troubleshooting, performance
optimization, and continuous improvement.
* Design and develop clean, modular, maintainable, and scalable software
following engineering best practices.
* Understand end-to-end product functionality and translate business
requirements into robust technical solutions.
* Design technical solutions and contribute to architecture and design
discussions for new features and enhancements.
* Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues while ensuring high
availability, reliability, and performance of services.
