- Establishing clear design objectives from initial inputs and lead design and stakeholder teams through the phases of scoping, designing, user testing, and delivering high-quality outputs with significant self-autonomy.
- Working within a cross-functional, international team focusing on creating and improving digital analytics tools used to drive corporate supply chain strategy.
- Building, planning, initiating, and leading programs that generate innovative applications of new and existing designs and technologies.
- Collaborating with user testing and research teams to ensure a continuous flow of diverse user insights that can drive UX solutions and inform product roadmaps.
- Monitoring features and benefits across the entire Digitization and Advanced Analytics solutions ecosystem, while building and aligning UX strategy with business outcomes.
- Advocating digital capabilities and the value of UX creation among various stakeholders within and outside of 3M, including executive leadership.
- Assisting in defining the UX vision and mission in partnership with collaborators.




- Influencing across enterprise to eliminate obstacles and enhance the effectiveness of the UX team.
- Providing coaching and training to team members on UX strategy.
- Defining and advancing the Design System in collaboration with the broader UX/UI Design team and the corporate team.
- Maintaining an advanced understanding of brand and 3M guidelines, ensuring precise application in every design or design-research project.
- Engaging in design and design research activities to acquire recent skills and apply them effectively in the role.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor s degree or higher from an accredited university in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), anthropology, psychology, sociology, design or design research.
- Minimum of 4 combined years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction design
