Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead and assist as required in writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code and configurations for enterprise-level applications. Develop application features ensuring that they are fully functional, tested, and meet the acceptance criteria.
- Advanced Configuration Management: Architect and customize application configuration to incorporate US bureau circular content updates into current and existing applications fit for use by internal and external teams
- Solution Architecture: Design technical architecture and applications to ensure scalability and robustness of the US bureau content solutions and updates in lockstep with the releases from various applicable insurance bureaus.
- Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve critical system issues, ensuring performance, security, and efficiency improvements.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and collaborate with stakeholders, including IT leadership and business teams, to deliver optimal solutions.
- Strategic Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical documentation, roadmaps, and architecture blueprints for future reference and scalability.
Key Skills:
- Languages: Fluent business level English is essential
- US Commercial Lines: Strong background and consultation experience in US bureau commercial insurance related to underwriting, process reengineering, and operations.
- Bureau Content: Deep experience in working with US Bureau circular content to apply appropriate filings for rates, rules, and forms guidance into software solutions
- Software Implementation: Proven track record of contributing in large-scale software implementation programs, with expertise in translating complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment: CI/CD practices using tools like TeamCity or Jenkins to automate the deployment process.
