Fundamental analysis for diligence of electrochemical technologies. Perform cost and energy optimization calculations and benchmarking with conventional technologies.
Education - M.Tech/PhD in Chemical Engineering or higher, Experience in Hydrogen Generation through Electrolysis; CECRI Institute graduates
Responsibilities
Policies, Processes and Procedures
Create management reports on technology updates and benchmarking with conventional technoliges
Work in coordination with various teams to understand, collect data and prepare a holistic view of the technologies in RIL perspective.
Excel based calculation & templates. Energy balance and efficiency of electrolysers.
Simulations of electrolyser in ASPEN Plus.
Technology Operations
Evaluation/diligences of electrochemical technologies (Hydrogen, green chemicals) from first principle
Estimate future performance parameters (best case scenarios)
based on possibility of improvements
Process comparison of various Hydrogen technologies such Alkaline water, Proton exchange (PEM), Anion Exchange (AEM)
Understanding of energy balance across electrolyser stack and estimation of energy leak points. Excel based calculation & templates
Understanding of electrolyser components and their contribution in stack performance
Anticipate constraints / trends in technology and product application range and review and recommend alternatives for implementation.
Suggest improvements and upgrades in electrochemical processes / equipment / technologies to reach higher capacities, higher process efficiencies.
Literature search to develop a detailed insight of the technology.
