We are WSP - Join us and make your career future ready In today s world it s significant to work for a company that has clear purpose giving back to communities and supporting what is truly important in the world When considering a career move its vital to work for a business that is aligned to your values and goals a place where you can belong See what WSP stands for in 2022 and beyond YOUR NEW ROLE WHATS INVOLVED Working with the Civil Structural Group Lead in UK to develop cost-effective efficient and innovative Civil Structural solutions to complex problems and then using engineering tools such as Revit Tekla Robot AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create practical designs based on these solutions Working on projects in a variety of stages of maturity including Feasibility Studies Concept Designs FEED Studies Value Engineering Detailed Design There will be opportunities for site work during project development construction and commissioning Preparation of deliverables such as structural 3D models structure design reports general arrangement drawings pipe support design and drawings foundation envelops and RC detailing Supporting development of plant layouts and plant 3D models Working with equipment vendors on developing designs of equipment packages and participating in technical evaluations of vendor designs Developing proposals and bids for Civil Structural projects and contributing to multi-disciplinary proposals Create detailed engineering drawings designs calculations for Extra High Voltage EHV projects covering both Air Insulated Substations AIS and Gas Insulated Substations GIS ranging from 11kV up to 400kV with a particular emphasis on 132kV voltages and above Operate as part of a team of engineers and designers in carrying out civil structural detailed engineering works including analysis and design of various structures and provide necessary technical inputs to designers procurement assistance in compliance with tender specifications and design basis within budge
