We re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Global Loan Services which include checking and approving loan events preparing reports reconciling trade settlements managing policies and addressing queries In the Operations division we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships This is an Associate level position within Product Support Services which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes Since 1935 Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world What you ll do in the role Execute processes functions and or support process management and project efforts Leveraging knowledge of the systems markets and instruments that influence the team Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements Checking and Approval of Loan Events tying out between System Agent Notices to ensure these are processed timely and accurately Preparing metrics reports Reconciliation of trade settlement via Internal MS system What you ll bring to the role Ability to establish transparent goals and priorities and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision Subject matter expertise in business area supported client requirements and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests Strong background in Loans Assumes ownership of problems and drives towards their resolution Displays high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately Develops and maintains excellence in client relations by providing timely and relevant information through effective communication Delivers team tasks on time to required quality At least 2 years relevant experience would
