Company Description AECOM s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for an Principal Designer - BIM Electrical to join our team in Gurugram About Enterprise Capabilities Fundamental to our Think and Act Globally strategy and digital adoption Enterprise Capabilities EC is AECOM s primary vehicle for workshare Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry With a team of over 3000 technical professionals located across nine countries and remote technical anchors EC teams are trusted to deliver high-quality specialist services that help to fill capability gaps resourcing needs and technical constraints on projects of all scopes and sizes Start here Grow here Lead the development and coordination of Electrical BIM models across all project stages Concept Schematic Detailed Design IFC Manage the setup maintenance and delivery of electrical models in line with project BIM Execution Plans BEP Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks Manage ensuring interdisciplinary coordination Ensure compliance with company and project BIM standards processes and data management requirements Work within Common Data Environments CDE such as BIM 360 Aconex or ProjectWise for collaboration and version control Generate electrical layouts schematics single line diagrams and schedules directly from BIM models Support BIM Managers in developing workflows templates and quality control processes Mentor and guide junior BIM designers and modelers within the electrical team Participate in design coordination and review meetings to ensure model accuracy and design intent Collaborate with discipline leads and stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet project and client expectations Qualifications 11 years of total skilled experience with at least 8 years in Middle East projects of large-scale and complex nature
