Job Title Deputy Manager - Injection Molding Department Production Manufacturing Industry Auto Components Manufacturing Location Saharanpur UP Reports To Production Manager Plant Head Job Purpose To oversee daily operations of the injection molding department ensuring effective production quality compliance cost control and team management in a high-volume automotive components manufacturing setup Key Responsibilities Production Management Plan and monitor daily production targets to meet delivery schedules Ensure optimal machine utilization and minimize downtime Review and improve cycle times and output efficiency Process Optimization Analyze and optimize injection molding parameters for improved productivity and reduced rejection rates Drive continuous improvement initiatives Kaizen 5S TPM Quality Assurance Ensure products meet customer and industry specifications Implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA for quality issues Coordinate with QA QC teams to address non-conformities Team Supervision Lead guide and train shift engineers supervisors and operators Allocate manpower efficiently across shifts and machines Conduct performance appraisals and skill gap assessments Maintenance Coordination Collaborate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection molding machines molds and auxiliary equipment Documentation Reporting Maintain production records shift reports and process logs Prepare MIS reports for senior management review Safety Compliance Enforce adherence to safety protocols and EHS Environment Health Safety guidelines Ensure compliance with ISO TS 16949 IATF 16949 and other relevant standards Key Requirements Qualification Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical Production Polymer Engineering Experience 5-8 years in injection molding with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role in the auto components sector Technical Skills In-depth knowledge of injection molding machines e g Arburg Engel Haitian Fanuc Familiar
