Key Responsibilities Strong understanding of rail vehicle electrical architecture with subsystem interactions for deriving functional and wiring schematics Ensure design compliance with rail industry standards safety regulations and customer specifications Possess robust knowledge of railway standards IEC EN and associated engineering procedures Lead and manage the Schematics and CATIA EHI team ensuring high-quality deliverables across multiple rail vehicle projects Lead cross-functional teams including S A designers mechanical designers electrical routing designers and advanced industrialization engineers Oversee the design and validation of electrical schematics and 3D harness routing using CATIA V5 V6 and EHI tools Review and approve technical documentation change requests and cost optimization proposals Coordinate with suppliers for prototype development ensuring alignment with design specifications and project timelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical systems and software engineering to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems Drive project planning resource allocation risk management and milestone tracking Provide technical mentorship and training to team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Demonstrate a leadership mindset with strong accountability ownership and adaptability in cross-functional environments Manage engineering changes through change management systems and processes Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience in rail transportation with a focus on electrical systems and harness design Proven experience in CATIA V5 V6 especially in EHI Electrical Harness Installation and schematics tools like Zuken E3 series or similar Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from concept to delivery Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills Familiarity
