Role Summary We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic CAD Technician - Roads Drainage to join the UK iCRC Roads team in Noida Bengaluru to work alongside our UK discipline The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning detailed design and onto construction You should be adaptable between Highways and Drainage as needed by the business requirements Responsibilities You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time You will be using AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation NavisWorks and other engineering software for the production and development of drawings You will read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H S Policy H S Manual and Local Procedures Manual Prepare models maintaining GG184 and uniclass layer standards Establish the link between multi-discipline drawings to understand the dependency and impact Perform peer checks and reviews of drawings Key Competencies Skills Mandatory Skills Ability to utilise AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation and OpenRoads in adherence to defined CAD standards to develop layouts labelling dimensioning sheet layout design details and other appropriate design concepts Checking of Draiange and Highway drawing deliverables Ensure the quality process in place and adherence to audit requirements Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems Proven ability to work up drawings plans sections details from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production You should be able to demonstrate some experience and working knowledge of relevant technical design guidance and standards such as HCD and IAN 184 Positive written and verbal communication skills Abilit
