A high-growth education organisation is strengthening its Finance & Accounts function and is looking for a
DGM – Accounts
to join its team.

The role will work closely with the
Head – Accounts
and serve as the
second-in-command within the Accounts function
, with responsibility across financial reporting, controllership, audits, MIS, statutory compliance, financial controls and finance transformation.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial closures across multiple entities.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, MIS, schedules and variance analysis.
- Ensure accuracy of books, reconciliations and financial controls.
- Manage statutory and internal audit coordination and closure of audit observations.
- Oversee statutory, tax and regulatory compliance.
- Develop Excel-based MIS, analytical models, dashboards and management reports.




- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and Board reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and senior finance teams.
- Drive ERP improvements, finance automation and process standardisation.
- Strengthen internal controls, documentation and IPO-readiness initiatives.
- Mentor team members and independently manage key finance workstreams.
- Support the Head – Accounts on strategic and operational finance initiatives.

Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably post-articleship.
- Inter CA (Any Group Cleared).
- Strong experience in end-to-end accounting and financial closures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with auditors, consultants and senior finance professionals.
- Advanced Excel and robust MIS reporting capabilities.
- Experience in multi-entity environments and ERP systems is preferred.
