nAbout the Role
nWe are seeking a energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager – Power Trading to drive growth in our power trading business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electricity markets, energy regulations, and commercial negotiations, with the ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships across the power sector.
nKey Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in power trading, renewable energy trading, and energy procurement.n
- Build and maintain relationships with power generators, DISCOMs, industrial consumers, open-access consumers, and other market participants.n
- Source and execute short-term, medium-term, and long-term power trading opportunities.n
- Analyze electricity market trends, demand-supply scenarios, pricing mechanisms,



and regulatory developments.n
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).n
- Coordinate with trading, scheduling, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.n
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and bids for prospective clients.n
- Monitor opportunities in power exchanges and identify profitable trading strategies.n
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and company policies.n
- Achieve assigned revenue, volume, and profitability targets.n

nRequired Qualifications

- n
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.n
- MBA (Marketing, Finance, Energy Management) preferred.n
- 3–8 years of experience in power trading, energy sales, business development, electricity markets, or related sectors.n
