Job Description: An Expeller Manager oversees the operation and efficiency of expeller machines, crucial in the edible oil industry for extracting oil from seeds, managing daily production, coordinating with various teams like Quality Control and Maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and supervising personnel. Key responsibilities include monitoring expeller performance, managing input/output materials, overseeing preventive maintenance, planning manpower, and assisting with process and safety control systems. Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Oversight:
- Manage the daily operations of the expeller plant to ensure efficient production of oil.
- Monitor and maintain critical operating parameters for expeller machines.
- Oversee the processes of flattening, drying, cooking, and pressing seeds to extract oil.

- Production & Quality Control:

- Submit daily records for input and output material specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure product quality and performance.
- Manage manpower planning and execute daily workloads.

- Technical & Maintenance Support:

- Provide shift process control and technical support for plant systems, including safety instrumented systems (SIS) and emergency shutdown systems (ESD).
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for daily activities and follow up on spare parts and chemical requirements from the store.




- Assist with calibration bodies and inspection agencies, preparing documents and providing floor visits.

- Team Leadership:

- Lead and supervise personnel involved in expeller operations.
- Collaborate with other divisions, such as the Boiler and Fractionation divisions, to ensure overall plant functionality.

- Safety & Documentation:

- Ensure all process control engineering activities, including SIS and ESD functions, are coordinated and performed safely and efficiently.
- Manage documentation as per Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Education:A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is often preferred.
- Industry Knowledge:Deep knowledge and technical expertise in the edible oil industry.
- Leadership:Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in operating expeller machines, understanding temperature and pressure requirements for oil extraction, and managing machine maintenance.
- Software Proficiency:Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is typically required.
- Soft Skills:Organized, detail-oriented, solid decision-making abilities, and good communication skills.
