Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner and Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing detailed engineering submissions for multiple airport projects, managing project coordination, and mitigating risks to ensure the successful delivery of aviation infrastructure. This position requires a highly skilled skilled with a Master's degree in Transportation Planning, extensive experience in the aviation sector, and a proven track record of 12 to 16 years in transport planning and design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and evaluate Detailed Engineering Submissions prepared by consultants for multiple airports owned by the Employer.
- Ensure compliance with design standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to consultants to enhance the quality of submissions.
- Perform project management duties, including planning, monitoring,



and reporting on project progress.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Act as a liaison between the Employer and the stakeholder community to foster collaboration and resolve issues proactively.
- Identify potential risks to project timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Provide early alerts to the Employer regarding risks and challenges.
- Develop and communicate mitigation strategies to address identified risks and ensure smooth project execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to achieve project objectives.
- Represent the Employer in meetings and discussions related to project planning and execution.
