Job Title: Record to Report (R2R) Ops Associate Manager Skill: Record to Report Financial Consolidation & Close Operations Experience: 10 14 Years Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced R2R / Financial Close professional to manage and coordinate month-end close activities, financial reporting, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and stakeholder management. The candidate will act as a key operational point of contact for the Record to Report process and will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial close and reporting activities. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate Month-End Close (MEC) and Year-End Close activities. Ensure all close activities, checklists, and journal entries are completed accurately and within timelines. Review and post journal entries including accruals, payroll, prepaid expenses, bank, and fixed assets. Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation, movement analysis, and variance analysis. Review the General Ledger and identify inconsistencies, discrepancies, and material variances. Prepare and present P&L; and Balance Sheet analysis to finance/business stakeholders. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reporting packs. Manage SLAs and ensure timely resolution of client and business queries. Coordinate with Business Unit Leads, Financial Controllers, AP, and other finance teams. Act as the primary operational point of contact for the assigned R2R scope. Support statutory accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting activities.



Coordinate with tax advisors and relevant stakeholders for tax-related data and submissions. Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation and information. Monitor process performance, identify gaps, and drive process improvements and standardization. Lead service delivery discussions and proactively address process issues and escalations. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and quality standards. Support extended working hours during month-end and year-end close periods when required. Required Skills Strong experience in Record to Report (R2R) / Financial Accounting Month-End Close & Year-End Close General Ledger (GL) Accounting Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Analysis Journal Entries P&L; and Financial Statement Analysis Financial Consolidation & Reporting Variance Analysis Statutory Accounting & Tax Compliance Audit Coordination SLA & Stakeholder Management Advanced MS Excel SAP S/4HANA Strong accounting concepts and principles Good to Have Power BI Experience in process improvement and automation Strong client/stakeholder management skills Experience managing small teams or finance operations Excellent communication and presentation skills Preferred Candidate Profile CA qualified with strong R2R/financial accounting experience.



Experience in managing month-end close and financial reporting activities. Strong understanding of GL, sub-ledger processes, reconciliations, and accounting controls. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and handle escalations effectively. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
