Job Description:

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Java and industry-standard development practices.

- Contribute to API ecosystem strategy, architecture, governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.

- Design and implement APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, security, and reusability.

- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services and microservices supporting enterprise API solutions.

- Work with AWS and other cloud platforms for API development, deployment, configuration, and operational support.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate API build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

- Contribute to platform engineering initiatives, enabling standardized, reusable, and self-service API development and deployment capabilities.

- Implement API lifecycle practices covering design, development,



versioning, security, deployment, monitoring, and retirement.

- Configure and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability for APIs and backend services.

- Troubleshoot API and production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, developers, DevOps teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust API solutions.

- Ensure adherence to API security, governance, coding, documentation, testing, and deployment standards throughout the SDLC.

- Participate in production support and help ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of API platforms.
