Job DescriptionDocument Controller (EDMS) Experience: 3–7 Years Location - Vadodara Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Mandatory) Preferred Industry: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, Energy Job Description We are looking for an experienced Document Controller with strong expertise in EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems) and document control processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Aconex, SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum, or similar document management platforms , along with a solid understanding of version control, revision control, workflow management, and information governance. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and administer documents within EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum , or equivalent systems. Control document creation, review, approval, distribution, revision, and archival processes. Ensure compliance with document control procedures, information management standards, and project requirements. Perform document uploading, indexing, metadata management, classification, and archiving activities.



Maintain accurate version control and revision control of engineering and project documentation. Monitor and manage document workflows, approval cycles, transmittals, and document status tracking. Conduct document quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with naming conventions and document standards. Support document migration, bulk uploads, metadata enrichment, and data cleansing activities. Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams for documentation requirements. Generate reports and dashboards related to document status, compliance, and project progress. Support document retrieval requests and provide end-user assistance on EDMS-related issues.
