Team Overview

Our team delivers strategic technology solutions that support customer implementations across TransUnion's broad range of products and services, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery outcomes. We are a key contributor to TransUnion's OneTru transformation initiative, leading the migration of thousands of customer processes from legacy platforms to the modern OneTru ecosystem, enabling greater scalability, standardization, and business agility. The team operates within the Global Technology and Data Analytics organization under the leadership of Venkat Achanta. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable solutions that support customer delivery processes, ensuring efficient and timely fulfillment of business and customer requirements.

- Create reusable and standardized solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance overall delivery quality.

- Develop and maintain ad hoc customer solutions to address recurring business requests and evolving customer needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend technical solutions, and drive successful implementation.

- Analyze and process complex datasets using Advanced SQL to generate insights, support customer deliverables, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

- Provide regular project updates, delivery summaries, and key metrics to leadership, enabling effective planning, prioritization, and operational visibility.

- Leverage technologies such as Unix/Linux, Spark SQL,



and cloud data platforms including Snowflake and BigQuery to build, maintain, and optimize high-performance data solutions.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

- Strong knowledge of Big Data Architecture and Spark SQL.

- Hands-on experience building and supporting large-scale data processing solutions using Spark SQL.

- Strong proficiency in SQL, data analysis, ETL processes, and data modeling.

- Experience working with Unix/Linux environments for data processing and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.

- Experience with Snowflake and BigQuery is an added advantage.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

- 6+ years of experience in SQL, Spark SQL, Unix/Linux, and data analytics.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.

Required Technical Skills

- 6+ years of experience in SQL, Spark SQL, Unix commands and data analysis.

- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling.

- Experience with large-scale data environments (e.g., GCP, AWS).

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Experience working with Cloud Data Warehouses like Snowflake,



Big Query, is an added advantage.
