A Doctor (MBBS/BAMS) is responsible for providing primary medical care, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and ensuring patient well-being through evidence-based medical practices. The role involves working in outpatient (OPD), inpatient (IPD), and emergency settings, offering quality care while maintaining ethical and qualified standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical examinations and diagnose medical conditions based on symptoms and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, or lifestyle modifications
- Manage OPD and IPD patients with timely and accurate interventions
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain comprehensive medical records, case histories, and discharge summaries
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and administer first aid or life-saving treatment
- Collaborate with specialists for referrals or advanced care where necessary
- Guide patients on preventive healthcare, vaccinations, and chronic disease management
- Adhere to medical ethics, confidentiality, and hospital policies
Qualification:
- MBBS from a recognized university + MCI/NMC registration
or
- BAMS from a recognized university + CCIM registration
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
