We are seeking a skilled B.Tech graduate with Level 2 Certification to join our maintenance and reliability team. The primary mission of this role is to ensure 100% Uptime of plant machinery through online condition monitoring, alert management, and root cause failure analysis.
Key Responsibilities & KPIs
Candidate will be deployed at customer site and will report to Engineer In Charge of customer on daily basis in General Shift. The candidate has to perform all the activity to ensure Acoem Online Condition Monitoring systems are utilised in full with all technical capabilities.
1. Operational Excellence & Uptime (The Mission)
- Maintain a primary KPI of 100% OVMS System/Machine Uptime.
- Ensure that all monitoring Alerts are always ON and functioning correctly.
- Connect company Tech Support if monitoring alerts are found to be inactive or malfunctioning.
- Close follow up with the respective user for hardware correction ie sensor connection, connector connection, checking power supply..
2. Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting

Follow up of maintenance activities and get maintenance feedback.
2. Update life line of each machine after its maintenance
3. To document success story and preparation and approval of documented saving is to be done in consultation with Head of CSM
4. Prepare monthly report of system performance and circulate to all concerned of HIL and Acoem
5. In case of failure of equipment where online system is installed, engineer has to conduct RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) immediately upon any downtime or system failure.
6. Categorize issues into Hardware (H/W) or Software/Network (S/W / N/W) and execute the specific workflows for each:
- For Hardware Issues:
- Diagnose the fault.
- Communicate findings to the Customer (Cx).
- Coordinate company Tech Support).
For Software/Network Issues:
- Assess the connectivity or software fault.
- Communicate immediately with the Acoem Support team to resolve.
3. Minor Repair
1. In case of any non functionality of the system, primary investigation is to be carried out.
2. To attend minor repairs like broken cable, refixing of sensor, replacement of cables etc are to be executed in support of HIL Team.
3. In case of major repair, it is to be carried out by co ordination with Acoem Tech Support Team or customer team (Based on scope of work)
Soft Skills: Self Initiator, Out Spoken & Robust interpersonal skills are required for effective communication with customers and internal support teams.
