Job Description:

Brief Job Profile: The role involves managing overall Maintenance Operations of the plant.
Some Important Responsibilities of a Maintenance Manager

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, PLANNING & EXECUTION

- Prepares plan for preventive & predictive maintenance including over howling based on MTTR- MBF.
- Notifies in advance the requirement of critical parts.

BREAKDOWN & CONTIGENCY MANAGEMENT

- Foresees the possibility of contingency and plans for the alternative resources.
- Communicates to the concern stake holder about the occurrence of contingency and the estimated time to restore.
- Mobilizes the resources to the activate the contingency plan on ASAP basis.
- Ensures resolution of any breakdown on the immediate basis with support of internal teams and /or external agencies.
- Ensures availability of critical spares as per defined list.

MIS & RECORD MANAGEMNT

- Carries out breakdown analysis including RCA record appropriately & reports to the concern stake holders.
- Prepares periodic summary of tasks.
- Maintains qualitative & quantitative records of breakdown and preventive measures to be carried out.
- Shares qualitative insights to improve maintenance, production and machine productivity
- Shares qualitative insights in minimizing maintenance/consumable costs per MT.

Team Management: Train and develop engineers, supervisors, and workforce.

Candidate Profile (Qualification, Experience, Skills & Abilities):





- M.E/M.Tech./ B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 10-12 years of experience.
- OR
- Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering with 12-15 years of experience.
- Additional Diploma in Electronics will be an added advantage.
- Must have held a managerial role for 5-7 years in an HVAC / Engineering / Automotive Component manufacturing unit.
- Ground level experience of basic and practical knowledge for repairing & refurbishment of machines in any engineering / manufacturing industries.
- PLC & CNC Machine Programming + Good understanding / knowledge of mechanical engineering + Documentation of Quality Systems.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machinery, Manual & Semi-automatic Manufacturing Technology (Press, Vibro & Dryer, U Bend, Ring Fixing, Chiller, Drill, PMT, Lathe, Compressors)
- Knowledgeable in 5S/KAIZEN, quality audit systems, statutory and factory compliances, and safety norms.
- Strong people management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
- Basic computer literacy, including email and MS Office. Exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.
- Enthusiastic and proactive in taking current initiatives.
- Willingness to travel to company’s plants outside Gujarat.
