Responsibilities for Admissions CounsellorReview prospective student applications for University admissionResearch and verify the accuracy of application informationFollow up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing informationContact applicant references to verify information included on resumes, letters of recommendation, and applicationsCreate profiles for each applicant and work collaboratively with other counsellors to review and make final approvalsCoordinate applicant approval process with various educational departments as neededMeet with and interview prospective students before final application decisionsCreate and maintain recruitment guidelines and goals to use for future recruitment efforts
