Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding as per drawings, specifications and work instructions
• Weld and assemble metal components using MIG welding equipment
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings
• Set up and operate MIG welding machines and related tools
• Check welding quality and identify welding defects
• Maintain proper welding parameters and machine settings
• Perform grinding, finishing and cleaning of welded components
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and 5S standards
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams
Candidate Requirements
- ITI / Welder qualification preferred
• 1–3 years of relevant MIG welding experience
• Knowledge of welding machines, tools and consumables
• Ability to read basic fabrication drawings
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Physically fit and willing to work in shifts
• Fresher candidates with positive welding skills may also be considered
