Role & responsibilities
- Operate CNC/VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Set and operate machines, tools, fixtures, and job components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining dimensions.
- Perform basic machine setting and tool offset adjustments.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure smooth machine performance.
- Carry out in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Callipers, Micrometre, etc.
- Maintain required quality and production standards.
- Ensure proper handling of tools, machines, and finished components.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S standards at the workplace.
- Report machine, tool, or quality-related issues to the supervisor.
Preferred candidate profile
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related technical qualification preferred.
- Relevant experience as a CNC or VMC Operator.
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations and machining processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of basic measuring instruments.
- Candidates with experience in precision engineering/manufacturing will be preferred.
