We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to manage day-to-day electrical maintenance and operational activities in a manufacturing environment.
The role requires hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting motors, transformers, cables, MCC/BCC panels and other electrical equipment. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown handling and ensuring smooth and safe operation of electrical systems within the workshop/plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day electrical maintenance and operational activities.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Attend and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, transformers, cables, MCC and BCC panels.
- Inspect electrical equipment and identify potential faults or abnormalities.
- Coordinate with electricians and technicians for maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely resolution of electrical breakdowns and maintenance issues.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, checklists and reports.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and standard maintenance practices.
- Support smooth operation of electrical systems in the workshop/manufacturing plant.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and secure working conditions in electrical areas.
- Coordinate with other maintenance and production teams whenever required.
