Responsibilities and Duties:
In this highly challenging role, you will:
Design and implement software features and unit tests related to Wi-Fi based on PRPL.




Develop and integrate mesh networking features on prplMesh/Easymesh (prplOS) and RDK-B/OpenWRT-based platforms.
Develop proof of concepts for recent technologies.
Research new Wi-Fi technologies.
Debug and resolve field issues (client connectivity, roaming, stability, and interoperability) in collaboration with silicon vendors.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
Over 9 years of experience in embedded system software development
Strong programming skills in C/C++
Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be and 802.11 extensions (802.11k, v, r), DFS, etc.
Extensive experience with Linux programs, including device drivers and applications
Extensive experience with WPA supplicant, Hostapd, and Radius protocol
Extensive experience with IP networking and a good knowledge of TCP/IP
Excellent analytical and troubleshoot
