The Admissions Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions process for prospective students from initial inquiry through to enrolment This role acts as a primary liaison guiding applicants and their families evaluating credentials and supporting the institution s overall recruitment and enrollment goals Key Responsibilities Application Management and Evaluation Review and Evaluate Applications Process and meticulously evaluate all student applications including academic transcripts standardized test scores essays and letters of recommendation to determine admissibility based on institutional criteria Decision Making Make recommendations or final decisions on applicant admissions in accordance with established policies ensuring fairness and consistency Data Maintenance Maintain accurate and confidential records of all applicant communications and information within the Admissions database or CRM Customer Relationship Management system Compliance Ensure all admissions processes comply with internal policies and external regulations e g FERPA UCAS or other higher education guidelines Recruitment and Outreach Prospective Student Advising Serve as the initial and ongoing point of contact for prospective students and their families providing detailed and accurate information about programs admission requirements financial aid and application procedures Recruitment Events Represent the institution at recruitment events such as Open Houses College Fairs and information sessions both on and off-campus Tours and Interviews Coordinate and conduct campus tours and interviews with applicants to assess their fit and provide a personalized experience Conversion Activities Assist in strategies to convert admitted students into enrolled students which may include targeted communication and follow-up Administrative and Coordination Duties Correspondence Proactively manage a high volume of inquiries via email phone and in-person meetings providing timely and professi
