About the team & role
The Business Analyst is a critical team member working closely with the Portfolio Lead, Business owners and the Product teams to ensure successful execution of key initiatives in the Provider Organization. He / she plays a central role in the day to day execution of the Provider Organization agile delivery.
The Business Analyst will be part of a very energetic and enthusiastic team leading innovative initiatives meant to exponentially transform the provider experience and internal operations. He / she will be assigned to Value Streams, offering the candidate an unique position to follow through from idea inception,



intake submission, until work breakdown, delivery, testing and release.
A Value Stream is a relatively current agile concept in Cigna used to describe the sequence of steps used to deliver value to the customer (e.g. provider, client, internal employee). It includes the whole sequence to delivery of value and the people who do the work, the systems, and the flow of information and materials. Example: the sum of steps required to pay a provider claim from claim submission until payment and confirmation of payment is released can be a value stream.
Key Responsibilities
Work with Portfolio Lead and Business Owners in identifying the pain point and potential opportunity to improve the provider or operational experience
Support analysing and sizing the initiative impact
For prioritized initiatives, help identify and onboard relevant experts
Ensure experts and agile delivery teams are connected and
