- Conduct socio-economic surveys, social baseline studies, and Social Impact Assessments (SIA) for storm water drainage projects.
- Identify social impacts, vulnerable groups, land acquisition, and Rehabilitation Resettlement (R R) requirements, and recommend mitigation measures.
- Plan and conduct stakeholder consultations, public meetings, community engagement, and awareness programmes.
- Coordinate with local communities, Government Departments, Urban Local Bodies, NGOs, and project stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering, environmental, GIS, and survey teams to integrate social considerations into project planning and DPRs.
- Prepare social assessment reports, stakeholder consultation reports, R R plans, social safeguard documentation, and project presentations.
- Attend client meetings, stakeholder consultations, and technical review meetings; support project approvals and grievance redressal.
- Prepare progress reports and ensure timely submission of social safeguard deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with Government policies, social safeguard requirements,



contractual obligations, and QA/QC procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation of consultations, grievances, mitigation measures, and project records.
Qualifications

Master's in Social Work (MSW)/Sociology/Social Sciences/Rural or Urban Development
